Cross Country Championships this weekend

The Mountain West Cross Country Championships take place in Provo, UT this weekend hosted by BYU.

Men: 8k course starts at 10a.m.

Women: 6k course starts at 11a.m.

Both races will have the BYU Cougars and New Mexico Lobos contending for the title. BYU's Mens team has won 10 out of the last 11 titles. The Cougars are currently ranked #7 in the nation. The Lobos are ranked #19 in the nation and have Jacob Kirwa and Rory Fraser the only returning top 10 finishers from 2008.

In the women's race #20 New Mexico will look to defend their title against #21 BYU. The Cougars are led by Senior Angela Wagner the 2008 MWC Cross Country Female Athlete of the Year.
