Well this is a game that Wyoming should have won and they did. But there are several positives that came out this game besides just a W. This was a back and forth game until Wyoming put down the pedal and cruised to the double digit victory. The Cowboys have struggled in close games and usually falter down the stretch like against Green Bay.
Another positive is that Afam Muojeke played sixteen minutes after missing the last three games. Adam Waddell did warm up but did not play. Both are expected to play on Friday night against Houston Baptist. Having the leadership of Muojeke on the floor is much needed if the Pokes hope to make some noise during the conference schedule.
Let's handout of some hardware!
Cowboy Joe: Desmar Jackson has been stepping his game and it deserves to be noticed. He led all scorers with 21 points and it was the third game in a row that he scored at least 20. Jackson is now averaging 15.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.6 steals. He had a career high six steals against Kennesaw State. Amongst MWC players he is ranked 6th in points and 2nd in steals.
Cowboy Low: The only evidence that Arthur Bouedo played on Tuesday were the two fouls that he picked up in seven minutes.
Cowboy Foe: Markeith Cummings led the Owl with 14 points with 8 of those points coming from the free throw line.
