It was a fairly even contest for our panel last week. We still have our tie for first place between the two Matt's. Congrats to Chad on the perfect ballot and now he is just one point away from moving into a tie for third place with Ian and Brad.

Skyler picked Wyoming to upset Boise and unfortunately it cost him two big points.

There are a lot of uneven pairings this week so it is a pretty boring time for controversy. Ian and I were the only ones who differed from the group at all by choosing Hawaii over BYU. Even though they are underdogs I expect the Warriors to put up a fight since they have bowl eligibility on the line. Chad is protesting the "Wild Sam" formation by choosing anyone besides Sam Stratton.

Usually I try and pick someone besides Brett Smith to add some variety to our picks. This week I just couldn't do that. Smith is coming off a rough outing versus Boise State but I do know that he hates losing and his motivation will be very high to win the Bronze Boot this week.
