Laramie is becoming Texarkana west. Wyoming has recruited that area heavily the last couple years and it paid off again. 2012 Linebacker Lucas Wacha out of Pleasant Grove HS in Texarkana, TX committed to Wyoming on Monday to give the Pokes 10 members of the 2012 recruiting class. According to his highlight tape Wacha is 6'2 200lbs while ESPN has him listed as 6'0 180 with a one star rating.

His 40 time is listed as 4.58 but it certainly seems like he is faster then that is his footage. Regardless that is still great speed for that position. It will be interesting to see if he sticks at linebacker or perhaps ends up at safety down the road.

Great to see recruiting really heat up for Wyoming the last few weeks. Wyoming has had great success in December the last couple years. With the bowl game this week it will also provide a national audience a chance to check out the Pokes and hopefully help a few more recruits to commit to Wyoming.
