Austyn Carta-Samuels Ends Up At Arizona. Or Not...
Several weeks ago it seemed like former Wyoming QB Austyn Carta-Samuels was close to choosing a new school. He had visited Vanderbilt and narrowed his choices down to three schools. After that the trail of news went silent. With fall football practices starting this week across the country it seemed like finally word would leak out of whichschool he enrolled.
This morning the Tucson Citizen reported that Carta-Samuels name waslisted on the check-in sheet of new players that would be playing football at Arizona this year. While his name was there, there was no sign of him anywhere on campus.
Former Wyoming starting quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels, the 2009 Mountain West Freshman of the Year, was listed on UA’s check-in sheet, although he had not reported as of 11 a.m. There was no confirmation that he would actually show up, so the possibility should be taken with several grains of salt.
Then later Ryan Finlay of the Arizona Star stated on his twitter acount:
Not so fast on the Austyn Carta-Samuels talk: hearing Wyoming transfer will NOT end up with #ArizonaWildcats

Has he been contacted by...
The college of nobody wants him and those in Wyoming don’t really care? I think it is funny that there are all of these reports that he is going here or there keep coming up but he is no where to be found. He was the big man on campus at UW and walked away that says a lot about his character and I think that character is what will keep him from being a starter at any other major FBS school… that is why he is creating his on hype hoping some school will take a chance on him.

He is good...
As I said above it is about character and when you walk out on a school without giving a reason others look at it as being weak and I really think that hurts him.

He is but not sure he really is a great fit for any BCS schools..
I think there also some questions still surrounding him and why he left.
