On Saturday we posted four of the recruits that were visiting this weekend. After further digging I ended up finding out several others out of the group of 12. They group spent the day snowmobiling and then took in the basketball game against the Lobos.

Ian from GoWyoGo.Com said that one of the recruits was actually a University of Washington commit named Jason Thompson from Kennedy Catholic HS in Burien, WA. He is a two star QB that also plays safety and the Huskies plan to put him on defense. Sounds like he is wanting to stay at quarterback and Wyoming may be a better opportunity for him. Listed at 6-3 195 he is a dual threat QB and his brother already plays football at Washington.

Here are is highlights from his junior season. All 74 minutes and 47 seconds worth. I dare you to watch the entire thing without skipping any part.

A confirmed vistor was Safety/OLB named Yamen Sanders out of Culver City HS (CA). Sanders is 6-4 185lbs and is not rated by any scouting service but he does hold offers from Arizona and Arizona State. He will visit those two schools over the next two weeks.

Here he is posing in a Wyoming jersey. He is still uncommitted at this point.

Check out his senior highlights.

There was also a DT from Washington in the group of 12 which is likely Uso Olive from Federal Way HS in WA. His teammate DJ May seems to be enjoying his visit and is ready to commit. With Olive and May in Laramie the chances are high that their other teammate MLB Jordan Pulu is along with them. Would be great to have the trio come on board for 2012.

Hopefully there will be some news of commitments on Sunday at some point. We'll keep you posted.
