The 2012 recruiting class for the Wyoming Cowboys is now complete a month after signing day. The coaching staff was looking for some additional depth in the secondary and finally found the athletes they were lookin for. The final piece is CB Cortland Fort from the Army Prep HS. Fort is from Etiwanda, CA and graduated in 2011 when he signed with Army. He attended their prep school and decided to go with Wyoming instead of pursuing school at West Point.
Listed at 5-10 167lbs Fort was rated two stars by Scout as well as Rivals. He ran 4.49 in the 40 during high school. According to Robert Gagliardi: Fort visited Laramie last weekend and then signed afterwards. I'm not certain if the year at Army Prep uses a year of eligbility or not. I don't believe that it does since he didn't play and wasn't on the team. Will check into that further.
We have a video highlight posted after the jump.
As far I can tell Cortland is trying to start his football and modeling career all the same time with this video. It's always important to maximize your exposure.
