The Blogpoll results for week one were released and the Crimson Tide are on top. Everyone must have seen that I voted them #1 and followed my lead. Actually I've got the top three same with USC and LSU taking those spots. After that it seemed like people differed in their rankings.
I voted Texas at #8 while they finished at 18. Instead of getting credit for beating a tough Wyoming team, the Longhorns are being punished by voters for the 20 point win. When the Cowboys start tearing things up it will hopefully give Texas a bit of a bounce.
I voted the Ohio Bobcats #19 but they fell just outside the top 25. Boise State is gone from the poll after their loss to Michigan State. I may have to champion the Bobcats even higher next week to keep the smaller conferences in the headlines. Oklahoma State received one first place vote but still finished in 15th overall.
Full results are posted after the jump.
