The Wyoming Cowboys are heading down I-25 to Colorado Springs to take on the Air Force Falcons in the start of Mountain West play for the Pokes. Fans who are used to 1pm kickoffs will need to pace themselves in order to still be conscious in time for kickoff tonight.
This is always a tough and interesting series. With the events that occurred after the 2012 game there is an even greater level of intrigue with this match up. 10 of the last 16 games have been won by just single digits and this one looks to be no different. We'll have a game of contrasts with the Cowboys 16th ranked offense which features a spread attack led by Brett Smith. They'll face the old reliable triple option that has served the Service Academies so faithfully over the years.
The Falcons will certainly be a much tougher opponent than the Pokes last two opponents: Idaho and Northern Colorado. The offense can't afford to disappear for half of the game and expect to still dominate.
Let's take a look at how you can tune in for the action. Also be sure to join our GameThread tonight to comment with other Poke fans during the game.
