Mountain West Connection takes a look at the Cal Poly Mustangs. Their RB loves Animal Planet and wears a grill.
Mountain West Connection put together a list of all the conference games this week and how they can be viewed. This chart will be very handy in the future as the TV deal is such a mess this year. You can also vote for which you are looking forward to. Just a reminder that the Wyoming-Toledo game which will not be televised. So get your butt to War Memorial.
After his 173 yard and two touchdown performance Wyoming's Robert Herron was named receiver of the week by College Football Performance Awards. Herron shares the honor with Austin Franklin of New Mexico State. Herron put his big numbers against Texas while Franklin torched FCS Sacramento State. Others that received honorable mention are: Marqise Lee (USC), Conner Vernon (Duke), DeAndre Hopkins (Clemson), Brelan Chancellor (North Texas) and Byron Hankerson (FAU).
There is some possible hope Wyoming fans. U-Verse could possibly pick up the Longhorn Network and possibly in time for Saturday's game.
Mountain West Connection found another Wyoming game that will broadcast. The new Time Warner Cable SportsNet will launch October 1st and show 12 Mountain West football and at least 24 basketball games. The Wyoming at UNLV game is one of those 12 broadcasts. Since it is such a new channel, no one except Time Warner has picked it up yet. DirecTV and Dish are not currently set to carry the channel.
Jeremy and Chris from MWC Connection have been doing a preview for every Mountain West team. They were kind enough to have me join them. They even finally wrangled out a season prediction from me. Check out the podcast and the other great stories they have on the site.
The SB Nation site "The Only Colors" was able to confirm with Michigan State that they will play Wyoming in 2014. The sad part is that there will be no return trip to Laramie. So if you really want to see Cowboys and Spartans play in person you better book your ticket to Michigan.
SB Nation is inducting members to it's first College Football Hall of Fame. Cowboy Altitude nominated Wyoming great WR Marcus Harris and now he needs your vote. He is going against some stiff competition of players that had big NFL careers. This is based on the college career and his resume is superb. So vote now, vote often and share the link with any other Wyoming sites/message board. ROCK THE VOTE!!!!!!
Another notch in the belt for Wyoming.
He was a JUCO OL recruit that signed with Wyoming and enrolled in the spring of 2010. He was impressive in spring drills and then left unexpectedly. From what I heard he didn't want to play football anymore. Guess that isn't the case since he is a starter for Kansas State.
