It has been awhile since Wyoming put a video out for the football team. Usually teams don't put out a video after a shocking less. I like the message the Pokes are putting out here. While many fans have spent the last six days bitching and calling for coaches to be fired. I'm more interested in seeing how the Pokes respond after such a low moment. I'm pumped for the game this weekend!

A look at Cal Poly in their season opening win over San Diego. Their quarterback senior Andre Broadus is legit and could give the Cowboys fits. I also included a video where they talk about making the move to the Big Sky Conference. That league has feasted on FBS schools this year. Wyoming needs to make sure they are not the next victim,

The MWC interviews Coach Christensen, Nick Carlson and Luke Ruff. Not sure why they made DC do his interview in a cave.

Is this considered electronica or dance music? Not sure but I just went out and bought a bunch of glow sticks after watching this video a couple times. Some nice footage from the second scrimmage. I would certainly describe the defense as "swarming". Chad Reese had the hit of the day when he popped Dominic Rufran and forced him to drop the ball.

Listen to Wyoming O-line/run game coach Jim Harding go through a practice with the team. Pretty entertaining stuff.

Check out some video footbage from the first scrimamge and media day. Great to see the players in action and get a feel for how some of the plays happened. Was very impressed of the very powerful runs by Shaun Wick (#26). He looks much stronger then his high school highlights show. Also the defense really swarms to the ball. They laid several brutal hits out there. Jalen Claiborne (#88) is now listed on the updated roster. The team wore their new camo uniforms for media day. Still no announcement on when those will be worn. I think that hardest thing to get used to with those uniforms is the gray. It has never been used by Wyoming before and was totally unexpected.

For weeks the University had been teasing about something happening on August 1st. Looks like all of the build up was for this 1:42 video. It is a great video with excellent cinematography. It has me ready for the season. However I think we were all expecting a bit more then just the video. Maybe there is more to this announcement that will come later. Also a TV broadcast schedule would be nice. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SB Nation previews the Mountain West and Brett Smith gets some love. They used the old conference logo, not really complaining though.

Watch Coach Christensen and captains Luke Ruff and Nick Carlson answer media questions at the Mountain West Media Days. It certainly does appear that Wyoming is going to be on much more ground with the rest of the conference moving forward.
