"I know everyone is frustrated that we have not been able to release our television partners for football telecasts this fall. All indications are that we will have Cowboy games telecast over a regional sports network. I am confident that if fans were receiving the Mtn in the past, they will be able to see our games on a regional sports network. We will be releasing details as soon as everything is finalized.
— This is what Tom Burman said in the latest Steamboat Sound. It seems like every couple weeks there is similar update that says they will have a deal finalized soon. I guess they have to be right eventually.
The positive part is that he expects the games to be on a regional sports network and people that had the Mtn will be able to see the games. As a DirecTV customer, that is music to my ears. That means Root Sports or Altitude are the likely landing spots.
Guess we will keep waiting for that official announcement.
