A week after the Border War Wyoming will host the highest rated wide receiver in Washington State.  Trent Sewell is a 2012 three star recruit (5.7 Rivals Rating) from Bothell HS that has scouting services drooling.  Sewell had interest from UCLA and Washington State earlier but both schools have filled their needs for receivers this year.  He already holds a offer from Wyoming.

If Sewell commits to Wyoming it would be a be a big steal for the Cowboy program.  At 6'2 205lbs he has great size as well as speed with a 4.43 in the 40.  He would be a great fit for the Pokes spread offense and I could certainly see him playing as a freshmen.  I'd say his game is similar to current Cowboy freshmen Dominic Rufran except that Sewell is three inches taller and 20 pounds heavier.

His senior year Sewell caught 34 passes for 527 yards and 10 touchdowns.  His junior season he had even better numbers with 44 catches for 1,058 yards and 11 touchdowns.  Check out some of his drill work at the FBU Top Gun All-American camp this summer.

Check out his senior year highlights after the jump.

Coach Christensen and his staff have done a great job of recruiting in the Pacific Northwest with the last two classes.  Hopefully that will continue with this year and Sewell will enjoy his visit.
