Here are some news and stories to help get you ready on the football team. We also tossed in a few video outtakes for the hell of it.
Congrats to former Cowboy Alvester Alexander signing with the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday. They had a couple running backs go down with rib injuries on Sunday and they will miss some time. Hopefully he'll be able to stick with the team for awhile. With so many roster moves being made by teams you never how what will happen.
Bad news for running back Nehemie Kankalongo:
Redshirt sophomore running back Nehemie Kankolongo was pulled out of Saturday’s scrimmage early after injuring an arm. Wyoming coach Dave Christensen said Monday that Kankolongo will be out four to six weeks.
"It’s one that won’t require surgery," Christensen said.
Hate to hear that he will miss so much time. This means the freshmen running backs have an even larger chance of playing in the opener. Hope to see Kongo back on the field ASAP and that he can make an impact this year.
Plenty of great player profile articles coming out right now:
- The story of Uso Olive made him a fan favorite before he even signed with the Cowboys. Almost went home this summer, but he is much more comfortable now in Laramie.
- Miraldo Michel had a tough junior year dealing with injuries and off the field issues. Now he is healthy and looking to make the most of his senior. Michel and Kankalongo are the two players I hope have big comebacks years in 2012.

Learn how 20 year NFL veteran Renaldo Hill became a Wyoming Grad Assistant. I can see his experience help to the secondary, love the part discussing watching film with Blair Burns.
- Jalen Claiborne is looking good at receiver, he may also make an impact as a punt returner.
